Because I needed a new hole in the head, I started a new blog - Budge, dedicated to publishing budget tips for those of us who want to save money and stay hip. I'm accepting tips and ideas at writerjax at gmail dot com, so feel free to send me your interesting coin-saving trick. If it's cool and hasn't been used yet ( and right now, let's just say your chances are great), I'll post it along with a link to your Web site or blog, if you want.
Here's to the cash.
Have you heard much about the site http://www.mint.com ? I've heard a few
other bloggers mention it as really great free financial software for
helping out with budgeting and tracking your expenses. I haven't actually
tried it myself, but it might be worth looking into.
hey, thanks for the tip, that's awesome!
Assembly Speaker John Gard made it clear Thursday that the financing battle
over the new state budget should not be looked at as an issue of roads vs.
kids.Gard, R-Peshtigo, said he was willing to wage a knock-down, drag- out
battle with Gov. Jim Doyle over transportation financing, and he defended
the Joint Finance Committee's decision to increase transportation funding
by $93 million while slashing Doyle's public education plan by $400
million.
