Further Live Earth Commentary

Ludacris tried to say 'Take yo broke ass home' during his set, and Bravo blotted out the whole thing with 2 seconds of uncomfortable silence, each time the phrase (part of the chorus) was played.

This is family programming, so ok, no problem. But I wonder if Bravo is in deep doo-doo for failing to use such methods during The Dave Matthews Band's final song, when Dave was able to slip in, like, 32 f-bombs (much to my general delight, at the time) at the end of 'Too Much.'

Having heard previous live performances by DMB, I knew about his penchant for changing things up, but apparently Bravo was not. I don't have a side on this; just an observation.

Another observation of Live Earth: the bands' trend toward vintage rock items. I saw a Police jacket from the Synchronicity Tour on the Taking Back Sunday guitarist, a Kiss t-shirt somewhere within The Black Eyed Peas, and The Police themselves brought along the old drum marquee with their logo on it. Props to The Cops. I'll see ya at Fenway in a couple of weeks.
