Travel Column Doing Well

My new travel column PuddleJump Travel Stories just earned me a very nice email from the editor of The Rainbow Times, which publishes it.

Nicole Lashomb, editor and co-owner of TRT, an LGBT publication that is printed and published online, said PuddleJump has officially ended its 'trial period' and any column I send in the future has a home in TRT's pages.

The assignment has been incredibly fun so far. I've been able to revisit notes from past press trips to craft new articles that have a story-teller kind of feel, as well as keep my eyes open for new story ideas. It's great to have a recurring assignment - it keeps my writing momentum up, and reminds me that there is indeed a story under every rock.

The column is updated bi-weekly online, so check it out, as well as the rest of the paper - it's very well-written and meticulously designed. It's an honor to be part of a new publication that I'm sure will reach even greater heights very soon.
